Sponsor a Family

Community groups, such as faith-based and non-profit organizations, can form a Community Assistance Team to partner with Bridge to assist with the initial resettlement process in order to help refugees integrate into the their new community. CATs are made up of 10-15 dedicated members who make at least a 3-month commitment to work with an individual or family beginning before they arrive in Chattanooga or Knoxville, helping with at least three different needs depending on each team’s unique skills and team members’ availability. This kind of commitment gives you the best opportunity to build relationships with and help refugees begin a new life in the Knoxville and Chattanooga. If you are interested in forming a team in Knoxville, please send an inquiry to pgreen@bridgerefugees.org. In Chattanooga, please email volunteermanager@bridgerefugees.org.
