Knoxville Volunteer Opportunities

Opportunities to serve are varied and include making a home for a new refugee family in anticipation of their arrival, preparing their first meal that they will eat in America, meeting them as they first get off the plane, and assisting staff with administrative tasks.

We have many volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, and groups. Many of our projects are appropriate for families with children.

We could not do what we do without your help.

Six Easy Steps to Become a Bridge-Knoxville Volunteer:
    1. Fill out an application.
    2. Come to an orientation
    3. Have an interview with the Volunteer Manager
    4. Have a Background Check.
    5. Receive training for your chosen position.
    6. Welcome—start serving!!

While serving:

  1. Report in periodically
  2. Come to our get togethers! (TBA)

Please contact us for more information if you or your group would like to co-sponsor a family, donate household items, intern with us, or have a special talent that you would like to donate to Bridge.  We would love to sit down and talk to you about your interest.
